Ekele Franklin, a 15-yr-vintage boy from Imo, who emerged the general quality candidate within the 2019 Unified Tertiary Matriculations exam (UTME), performed between April eleven and April 15 has attributed his feat to everyday participation in competitions.

Ekene who scored 347 said his goal was to make a rating of 370 out of a probable four hundred.

The young chap, an SS3 student of Meiran network Secondary faculty, Meiran, Lagos brought that he changed into taken aback to be announced the candidate with the best score within the examination.

Ekene wants to study Chemical Engineering in the university – for the affection of it and to impact the society.
“I need to study Chemical Engineering because I experience that chemistry and generation can impact most of the people and society in diverse methods; and personally, i’ve an inherent ability for chemistry,” he said.
